Issues I have with Wealthy Affiliate
Listen, I’ve made valuable and consistent income with online marketing at the end of 2017, which was after a year with Wealthy Affiliate. So I know just how difficult it is, especially if you are totally new to the online business.
During the first year of my time at WA, i have questioned myself should I continue with it. Luckily, i have not given up at that time! And now, to have all my hard work pay off is amazing!
As i mentioned above, Wealthy Affiliate never describes themselves as “make money fast” or “get rich quick”, or anything similar to that. The reason they don’t use such terms is that the aims of this platform are to teach you how to build a real, consistent, and legitimate online BUSINESS. Just like any other business, it takes effort and time to grow up. Remember, Wealthy Affiliate is NOT a program that makes you become rich overnight, so if that’s what you’re dreaming of, please do not join up.
The other problem i have faced with it is that i don’t have enough time to go through all the training they provided in the program, and sometimes, i felt overwhelmed with all those training and can’t catch up with their daily classes even i am a full-time blogger right now.
So, time management is the other problem with the WA program, and i am sure to say that you will definitely find yourself very busy after join their program.
Final Thought – Is Wealthy Affiliate Scam?
Is the Wealthy Affiliate scam? You know what? Yeah, it probably is – ONLY if you marketed it as a “GET-RICH QUICK” program – Which it’s NOT!
To be honest, online business marketing, in general, is keeping changing every single day and always pushing those boundaries. The founder, Kyle, and Carson have built up this training platform and web host services since 2005 and have become bigger and bigger, which is something really incredible.
And Back in 2014, one of the creators of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle, wrote an article, based on his research and facts, claiming an MLM company called MOBE to be a Scam. The result of it has led them to a lawsuit as MOBE claiming Kyle’s article defamed their company leading to a loss in revenue.
Since 2015, they were sued, they stood up, and finally, WA and Kyle prevailed in 2018. And What is the result? Kyle has donated half ($65,000 Canadian Dollars) of the awarded settlement to the repatriation efforts of the FTC and Receiver for consumers who were victims of this MOBE, which though the legal costs to operate this lawsuit were MUCH more than the amount they were awarded.

Ya see this is incredible, and truth always prevails. The guys that run Wealthy Affiliate have proven to us that they are not a pyramid scheme because they have protected the victim who suffered from a scam program, and I feel proud to be part of the WA community!
