So, here are the following steps to find profitable keywords with low competition.

How To Find Profitable Keywords
4 Step on How To Find Profitable Keywords

Step # 01: Understand search intent

Google now understands the search intent. For instance, if you search for something, then Google will figure out whether you want to:

  • Buy something
  • Do something
  • Find something
  • Learn something
  • Or go somewhere

For example, Google will show you some suggestions whenever you search for any restaurant on the search engine.

However, you can decide your target audience by choosing the navigational, transactional, or local keyword.

Like if you want to create brand awareness, then informational keywords are best.

So, this is the first step to give directions to your search to find highly searched keywords.

Step # 02: Develop seed keywords

Seed keywords are typically one or two words that have a very high search volume. It might be as simple as “Fashion.”

i.e. Seed Keywords are the base and provide the foundation of your keyword search.

If you have the right seed words, it will be easy for you to find profitable keywords.

However, you can start with 3-5 seed words. After finalizing a few keywords, you can increase the list by following these suggestions.

  • Look for the keywords that have more data on the Google search engine.
  • Go with the topics and words that are most demanding.
  • You can steal the keywords from your competitors.

After taking famous words and phrases, now it is time to shortlist the best ones.

You can take the first two words from your selected name to find more related terms.

Step # 03: Generate long-tail keywords

The success of your blog content depends on the keywords that you select.

If you choose a single word or seed keyword, then it will be highly competitive, especially for new bloggers.

So, it is crucial to think creatively and come up with unique ideas.

You can find an innovative way to target the same old thing with a different topic.

Yeah, that’s is the purpose of a long-tail keyword to convey the same message but in another way.

Long-tail keywords consist of 4+ words, and they are much more specific than head keywords.

Thus, these should be the ideal targets for beginners because:

  • They have less competition.
  • People who search for long-tail phrases are closest to buy things.
  • These are the phrases that people use to find what they want.
  • Long-tail keywords have the highest ROI and directly generate revenue.

So, if you want to search for long-tail keywords, then Google is the best idea!

You can write your seed word in the search section and get the results. Moreover, you can also take suggestions with the help of “Searches related” which always shows at the end of the search page 1.

How To Find Profitable Keywords

Step # 04: Filter and prioritize keywords

After expanding the seed keywords into long-tail words, now you are ready for the next step.

With the right search, you can find profitable keywords, but it’s impossible to use all these.

So, it is vital to prioritize a few to generate good revenue. But don’t forget to shortlist and find highly searched keywords with low competition.

Apart from this, there are the following other things that need your attention to shortlist keywords.

  • Look at the search volume of your keyword. The search volume should be between 1000-10,000 for the best results.
  • Pay serious attention to the difficulty level of the keyword. It will tell how difficult it would be to rank among the top ten in Google SERP.
  • The above two metrics indicate your chances to appear on the search engine. But it would help if you also consider clicks. It shows the potential traffic that can land at your site.
  • Now, look at the expected traffic potential that is associated with your chosen long-tail keyword.
