By choosing the right topic and niche for your blog, it will help make it easier for you to create engaging content for your audience, and even help make your blog profitable.
In this article, we will explore how to choose a profitable niche that can help generate income online.
Blog Niches That Make Money
What Is A Niche In Blogging

First, let’s talk about what a niche is.
A niche market is basically a part of a larger market, which can be defined by its own special needs and preferences of its components or its identity that makes it different from the general market.
In other words, it is basically a subject within a subject.
A blog “niche” can be as broad or specific as you want to discuss in your blog.
For example:
- Niche: Fashion
- Specific Niche: Women Fashion
- More Specific Niche Market: Women Fashion for plus size people
In the fashion market, there are many different market segments or niches. The fashion of young women’s clothing will be a specific niche market. The fashion of plus-size women’s clothing, the fashion of pregnant women, and the fashion of women who like rock style will also be a niche market, but just in more specific. In general, the more specific niche you discuss, the more passionate your audience will be.
Almost every market can be further refined or divided by unique preferences and needs. Here are some common methods for defining the niche:
- Demographics (age, gender, education level, income level), geographic area (country/region, city, even neighborhood)
- Quality level (advanced, manual, economical)
- Price (for example, luxury, medium, discount)
- Psychology (interests, values, attitudes)
In addition, please note that any niche market can be your full-time source of income, and your first niche market does not mean to be your last niche market, and it is not necessarily perfect, so I don’t recommend that you spend too much time and effort to find your niche in the beginning!

When you decide to niche a market, you need to pay special attention to several things. Here are the things that a good niche market should do, let us discuss them one by one.
Step 1-Follow The Passionate Niche Market
Before choosing a niche market, you should consider whether the niche market is your passion, hobby, or hobby?
The fact is that billions of people search and browse the Internet every day to find different kinds of topics, so it’s certain that you can make online money in every niche, almost anything you can think of-of course, this is Well, you do it. So this is why I help you choose your niche market.
If you choose a niche market that is passionate about or interested in yourself, then you will be more motivated and your blog journey will be more enjoyable and interesting.
Also, remember that this is not a daily job.
Imagine that when you pursue your passion, you will invest 100% of your energy and time no matter what happens.
Productivity!
Moreover, if you are doing something that interests you, you can enjoy the process at the same time. So what are the ultimate benefits of doing business around these concepts? productivity!
However, I am not saying that if you want to work in the fashion field, you should become a fashion designer, but from the most basic point of view, you must understand what it is talking about and be passionate about it, and why it is Become your fashion designer. Customers buy.
In any case, in what way will you convince shoppers to buy the products to be displayed?
Step 2- Check the Niche Market Value
Before jumping into any niche, you must have a clear idea about niche worth and people are willing to spend money in your niche.
This clear idea will help you in the decision-making process of whether to go for it or not. Also, there is a certain niche in which you’ll see incredibly difficult to get purchasers to spend their money online. Let’s assume you’re in the home design niche and trying to sell furniture online, for example.
However, in light of the fact that purchasers need to try out their furniture before they spend money on them – no matter how amazing your site is, you may not get many incomes from your affiliate site.
Step 3- Identify the Problem of Your Niche Market
Next, the niche must have a problem statement to solve.
To be easier to understand, just keep in mind the keywords “HOW?”.
Nowadays, people keep asking HOW in the internet world. For example, people who are looking for a solution, such as “how to weight loss fast without exercise”. Apparently, it is a very common problem for people who want to lose weight. And if you find an appropriate method and nutrition that solves this issue, you can generate massive online income by creating your own blog.
So, it will be easier to market people who have several problems they need to face. In other words, you can basically sell your item or service as an answer or solution to their problem.
Step 4: Find Products/Services That You Can Sell To Your Audience
You would prefer not to need to design something from zero to sell to your customer online, instead, you should sell something that is now in the market, and plan to monetize your niche by recommending products that are beneficial to your visitor.
Definitely do some research to check if there are enough products to develop your blog content. The easiest way is to check out Amazon but don’t stop there. If you are interested in digital marketplaces, there are some affiliate platforms like ClickBank and JV Zoo.
Furthermore, if you won’t make a good amount of money from your niche, be sure to look into the commission rate, not just the product price.
For instance, Amazon has set the commission rate based on the product category. The maximum commission rate is 10%. This makes Luxury beauty (10%) much more interesting than fashion products (4%).
Step 5: Look for Fields with Little Competition
Sadly, not all niches have the same level of appeal, and the more appealing your niche is, the harder it is to break into.
Competition is much more intense in a board niche. Also, for beginners, a broad niche will only distract you and this is not going to benefit you.
Please Be Specific!
As you can imagine, if you go too competitive, you’ll never carve out your space.
For example, if you are interested in the health niche, however, when you make a quick Google search, it tells you there are thousands of health blogs out there. I would suggest identifying a more specific health niche to stand out, such as the health niche for vegan people. It will help you easier to find your target audience if you write for a niche that’s not so broad.
As a result, you can rise through the ranks faster with less effort.
The key to finding a low-compatible niche is to use keyword research tools such as Semrush, Jaxxy to take those queries and find out their search volume.

My Personal Experience
My first niche was the “Health for vegetarian” niche. I chose this because I am a vegetarian, so I know what’s the problem vegetarians are facing. Also, I had a lot of tips and advice to share with my audience. I monetized that blog by promoting the health product for vegan people, and the essential vegan kitchen tools which help make vegan cooking easy. This is an amazing niche for me to begin with because I know what to write for the contents, how to communicate with my visitors, and know what to promote and help others.
This is something that I am passionate about and interested in. I was so enthusiastic and eager to get started. I was able to spend all my time building my niche website. This is the state that you should be thinking about – pick a niche that you are willing to spend your whole day to do with. You won’t feel like you are “working”, really!

Reading about this article how to find blog niches that make money 5 steps to find your perfect niche sounds really interesting. I have doubts finding my perfect niche but reading this article it was an opener for me. I enjoyed reading every bit of this article
Hi Charity, thanks and hope that you’ve found the one:)
I like what you have up-front when deciding on a niche – PASSION! When I first tried to start a blog my college roommates were all into being in a band. I thought blogging about guitars and drums and keyboards could be a profitable niche. But, music was their passion, not mine. Blogging became a chore so much so that I stopped doing it. It’s only since I’ve found my own passion that blogging has begun to make sense to me.
Hi William, yes, if you’re not PASSION into your niche, it’s difficult to continue.
